Le Centre Thomas Sankara (The Thomas Sankara Center) is a Pan-African library & political education center, based in Burkina Faso and Niger. In the center panel, I’ve painted a moment where Children in the Élèves d’une Afrique Unie (Students of a United Africa) program are reading and answering letters sent by young African students in France. The left and right panels show young pioneers reading “Thomas Sankara: Un Rêve Brisé” and “Miriam Makeba: La Reine de la Chanson Africaine,” respectively. ​​​​​​​
